Mask Installation:

Step 1 Use the provided paper clips or string to determine the best attachment points for securing your grazing muzzle to your halter. The paper clips serve as temporary aids, making the adjustment easier.

Step 2 Two of the "flippers" have a triangular cutout. Attach them to the square rings (side rings) of your grazing halter. Connect three flippers to the noseband, one in the center, and the other two naturally fall on the sides of the center. Also, attach three flippers to the chin strap; one in the center, and the other two naturally fall on the sides of the center.

Step 3 Secure each flipper with a triangular cutout using the provided zip ties. Do not run the flippers around the halter as this could cause rubbing.

Step 4 Once properly installed, the grazing muzzle should rest near the horse's nose without direct contact. If the mask touches the nose, adjust the flippers under the chin to lift the mask.

Step 5 Once you are satisfied with the alignment of the holes with the halter, remove the paper clips or string and securely fasten the grazing muzzle with the provided zip ties. After finding the best setup for your horse, trim the excess material from the flippers just above the top hole used.

You can wait a day or two to ensure the grazing muzzle is comfortably positioned before cutting the excess. The excess of the zip tie should be on the outside of the mask and cut close to it.

If the muzzle is correctly fitted and the right size, it will work effectively. If you notice excess space, make sure the flippers are securely attached to the halter. The flippers should not move along the noseband; if they do, tighten the zip tie.
